The Little Dancer Performance at the National Gallery of Art
Sun, November 23, 2014 @ 3:30 pm
Kirov Academy of Ballet will take you on a journey back in time. The period is the 1800s when dancers in white romantic tutus begin their exercises for a rehearsal of ballets destined for the great stages of France. As light filters through the dance studio, a ballet master enters and sees The Little Dancer deep in thought about the rehearsal, which will begin momentarily. This is a lovely opportunity for our audience to take a moment to breathe in the beauty of classical ballet and art. For directions and transportation to the event, visit Culture Capital.
The One I Feed Dance Benefit
The Kirov Academy will be performing at the Benefit. ‘The One I Feed’ Dance Benefit takes world renowned performers who donate their time and talents to put on a captivating and entertaining show that all can enjoy. The performance benefits food allergy research through art, compassion, and education. It also supports the local arts community and helps dance companies thrive and have more visibility.
