Year Round Programs (September 3, 2017 – June 9, 2018)
The centerpiece of our ballet training programs is the Year-Round (Academy) Program, in which aspiring young dancers are trained in the same program as used in the famous Vaganova Ballet Academy, as the great ballet artists of the Mariinsky Theatre have been through. The program offers daily ballet instruction in a residential setting, complete with fully-accredited academics (grades 7-12) and a vibrant resident life — all under one roof!
The Pre-Professional Program has a performance-oriented track, otherwise referred to as the Junior Company trainee program. It is a pre-professional trainee program designed for students who wish to pursue further ballet training following their graduation from high school with the goal of pursuing a career as a professional dancer.
The After School Program offers excellent training to young dancers for ages 4-18. Our highly qualified instructors work with each dancer in a step-by-step approach instilling the solid foundations of classical ballet, along with character building qualities such as focus, a strong work ethic, determination, and self-esteem.
Academics are a very important part of a KAB education. We are the only ballet school in the United States that has academic classes taught on site. The Academy offers a full curriculum, for students in grades 7 through 12, that is accredited by The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Subject areas include: English; mathematics; history of art; ballet history; French; biology, human anatomy and chemistry; U.S.and world history, and social studies.
- Summer Intensive Program (June 24 – July 29, 2018)

Each day consists of up to 6 hours of dance training; classes may include ballet technique and ballet repertoire with some of the finest ballet instructors from around the world, character, contemporary, floor barre, pilates, pas de deux, history of ballet and nutrition.
