1. Participants apply for their audition at their preferred location (locations/dates will be announced in the fall, 2020).
   
   
2. Music students attend the audition where they will be assessed by our teacher or recorded by our professionals. Parents and students will have the opportunity to ask any specific questions they may have about our programs.
   
   
3. Within 1 week after your audition, our Admissions Office will be sending out the results from your auditions. Invitations will be sent to those who have qualified for our programs.

*Students must be at least 10 years of age at the start of our programs to apply for our programs.*

Registration and check-in begins 30 minutes prior to audition class.

Online registration will close one business day before the audition, however you can register in person at your audition location.

SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Kirov International Music Festival accepts talented piano, violin, and vocal students for intensive study and performance. Ranging from pre-college to emerging professionals, accepted students are serious musicians who are planning to enter or are in the process of completing a music program at an accredited institution, or are entering the world of professional auditions. Festival participants receive multiple performance opportunities, including daily performance classes, recitals, as well as masterclass appearances with resident and visiting faculty.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAM

Kirov Academy Year-Round Program is designed for music students in grades 6 through 12. Students wishing to be invited to the Year-Round Program can audition or participate in the Summer Festival.

PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

The Pre-Professional Trainee Program (Pre-Pro) is designed for students who wish to pursue further music training following their graduation from high school with the goal of pursuing a career as a professional musician.
