    Adult Dancers of all levels are invited to join us this summer at the Kirov Academy Virtual Studio. Enroll in our sessions for discovering, learning, creating and dancing with the finest ballet teachers and artists from Kirov Academy, Vaganova Academy and the Mariinsky Theater. All classes are virtual.

  • Media Release Form

    All enrolling students must read over and submit the Media Release Form prior to filling out the Enrollment Contract. The form provides you the opportunity to choose to give permission or not give permission.

    Video / Photograph Release Waiver

    I hereby grant Kirov Academy of Washington, D.C. the irrevocable right and permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of me on Kirov Academy and other websites and in publications, promotional flyers, educational materials, derivative works, or for any other similar purpose without compensation to me.

    I understand and agree that such photographs and/or video recordings of me may be placed on the Internet. I also understand and agree that I may be identified by name and/or title in printed, Internet or broadcast information that might accompany the photographs and/or video recordings of me. I waive the right to approve the final product. I agree that all such portraits, pictures, photographs, video and audio recordings, and any reproductions thereof, and all plates, negatives, recording tape and digital files are and shall remain the property of Kirov Academy of Washington, D.C.

    I hereby release, acquit and forever discharge the District of Columbia, the Kirov Academy, its current and former trustees, agents, officers and employees of the above-named entities from any and all claims, demands, rights, promises, damages and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use or distribution of said photographs and/or video recordings, including but not limited to any claims for invasion of privacy, appropriation of likeness or defamation.

    I hereby warrant that I am eighteen (18) years old or more and competent to contract in my own name or, if I am less than eighteen years old, that my parent or guardian has signed this release form below. This release is binding on me and my heirs, assigns and personal representatives.

  • Enrollment Contract

    By signing this Enrollment Contract, you acknowledge the following provisions:
  • 1. I acknowledge that Kirov Academy of Washington, D.C. (“the Academy”) will issue refunds based on the withdrawal policies outlined in the ASP Handbook. Refunds will be authorized according to each department’s refund policy. Participation is suspended until minimum payment is received. All withdrawal requests must be made through the Withdrawal Form after notifying the Program Head.

    2. I understand this is an enrollment and tuition commitment for the program duration regardless of early withdrawal or missed classes.

    3. I acknowledge that the Academy reserves the right to retract enrollment at any time, for any reason, such as: behavior, attendance, or late payments.

    4. I agree that the Academy is not liable and is held harmless from any losses, injuries, damages or expenses related to my participation as well as to visitors in association with me. Any and all claims against the Academy are waived. In turn, any damage and/or harm caused by me and/or my visitors will be my responsibility.

    5. I acknowledge that I may be physically touched to adjust and improve my posture or position from time to time during my training and I will not hold the Academy liable for such necessary physical adjustments.

    6. I have read over and signed the Media Waiver form as to how my image/video may or may not be used for publicity, press, and/or in-house purposes.

    7. The Academy reserves the right to make any changes to the program or schedule as needed, with or without notice.

    8. I understand that the Academy is not responsible for classes cancelled due to inclement weather or other "city-wide emergencies." Make up classes are determined by the Academy on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

    All Kirov Academy programs and courses require a non-refundable enrollment fee. The Adult Ballet Program enrollment fee is $55 and will be added to the program cost.
