GROUP SAT BOOT CAMP


With 30 hours over 5 weeks of focused education and guidance, this course helps small groups of students (5 or less) to improve their approach to problem-solving, specifically for the SAT test. In addition, each student receives 4-hours of individual tutoring sessions. An SAT example test will be provided for the student to take in their own time and submit to the instructor for assessment. The assessment fee ($55) for this is separate from the commitment to the 30-hour course. 

 


INDIVIDUAL ONE-ON-ONE TUTORING


A 30-hour SAT Prep personalized tutoring class with an individual student that is scheduled by arrangement with the instructor. The assessment fee ($55) for this is separate from the commitment to the 30-hour course.  On average the instructor has helped students to improve their score by over 300 points, in some cases to obtain a perfect score.

 

 


COLLEGE ESSAY PREP INDIVIDUALIZED ONE-ON-ONE TUTORIAL


A 15-hour course that can be extended by arrangement. The instructor will interview the student to assess their best attributes and suggest ways for the student to approach their college application essay. The student will write and continue to edit their own essay while the instructor will give guidance and suggestions about how the student could improve their essay.

 


COLLEGE COUNSELING ADVISORY SERVICE


The instructor will interview the student to understand what goals the student seeks to fulfill through entering college and will assess through an interview what colleges and universities are suitable choices for the interests, skills, and personality of the student. Courses consist of a minimum of 10 sessions, with more by arrangement.

 

 

 




EXPERIENCED TEACHERS

Expert teachers who stay current with the most recent updates from official College Board exams. Teaching strategies that help quickly differentiate between critical points and distracting information within the problems. Identifying students’ strong and weak points in order to develop strategies to raise their scores significantly.

Instructors draw from years of experience taking the SAT themselves to develop strategies that have worked for them and the students they have taught. 

All students are independently assessed to determine the optimal strategy for individual improvement.  Students are methodically guided through the application of strategies and are able to track their progress through a series of assessments

After a preliminary evaluation, the instructor designs a tailored approach which accounts for each student’s particular skill set, aiming to capitalize on strengths while reinforcing any deficiencies.  Each section is methodically explained in order to secure the highest possible scores with the greatest amount of consistency.

An international SAT-tutoring and essay-writing veteran, Rexton has had the privilege of seeing many of his students attend the most prestigious universities year after year, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Stanford just this past year alone.  His students regularly score within the highest percentile, with his most improved this past year increasing from a 970 to a perfect 1600.

His approach focuses on identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each student, employing a strategy that empowers students' capabilities to study, and successfully execute what they learned in the actual exam.

  • SAT Prep Small group (3-5): $3,900 for 30-hours of classes plus 4-hours of personal instruction

  • SAT Prep Personal One-to-One: $7,500 for 30-hours

  • College Essay: $250 per hour
