Summer Intensive Program

Auditions Will Open in the Middle of January 2022

The Summer Intensive Program (SIP) is a 5-week classical ballet intensive for serious dancers with rigorous training in the Vaganova method, along with a myriad of other dance styles and related classes to provide students with a summer of diverse education.

Each day consists of up to 6 hours of dance training; classes include ballet technique, pointe/variations, men’s technique, pas de deux (if possible), character, contemporary, modern, jazz, stretch & conditioning, repertory, nutrition, ballet history, and much more with some of the finest instructors from around the world.

Auditions are open

Summer Intensive Program

It was a really incredible experience. I wasn't going to come here until two days before, I just kind of went for it. And I am really glad I did. I met a lot of incredible friends, and of course, the teachers are all amazing. I was really inspired every day. Mr. Du is definitely one of my favorite teachers I've ever had. I really learned a lot. The hardest part was learning contemporary and jazz, because they were all new to me, and it was a good experience.

Jason Shuman

It was amazing. It was the best training I've ever had at a summer intensive and I've enjoyed every single teacher that I had. It has been a really good experience overall. The teachers are really good and they pay special attention to every single student. They are definitely world-class teachers and I was so glad to the classes from them. I liked Mme. Valeria Ivleva's class most, because she always gave me good corrections and helped me improve the most.

Schuyler Crozier

This is my first summer intensive and I will be in the year-round program also. I've experienced a lot more this year than in previous years. I've gotten better, and the program also has gotten better. Mr. Du taught me a lot and had a good connection. I think this program is a lot more refined than most programs. The teaching and housing were really good.

Ryan Robinson

Mr. Du's classes were really informative and taught me how to act in auditions and how to meet with new teachers correctly. The program helped me get a taste of what it would be like in the year-round program, and helped me improve in many different ways. I had a lot of fun.

Kelsey Swire

It was a really good experience. I'm glad I got to learn outside my home studio and I'm glad I got to meet many friends. Vaganova style was new for me and it was challenging but fun. Mme. Valeria Ivleva taught me how to train my knee for my pointe work.
