In the Virtual Program, students will receive professional guidance from world-renowned musicians and professors. The program will provide practical steps to audition for music conservatories and universities, offer training on how to thrive as a professional musician.

Gifted & Talented Program

The Gifted & Talented (GT) Program provides pre-college musical training and preparation for students 5-18 years old who exhibit the potential and discipline to pursue serious music study at the college level and beyond.

The GT curriculum includes classes in music theory, ear training courses, music history, and performance with faculty of the top conservatories and music schools.

Students will also have the option to take weekly private virtual lessons with the Kirov music faculty. The GT Program offers private lessons for piano, violin, and voice.

We connect our students with world-renowned musicians, professors, and mentors to guide them through the process of auditioning for the top music schools and conservatories in the country.

We offer real guidance, practical instruction, and lifelong advice to help our students thrive as professional musicians.

What sets us apart

MUSIC CONSERVATORY ADMISSIONS CONSULTING

Our programs are specifically geared towards helping students reach the next step in their career: entering a music conservatory. Our artistic faculty has years of experience helping students select and prepare for school applications. Many of our faculty have access to professors of respected conservatories to allow for direct contact with students from this program.

Audition Preparations

The audition process is a lengthy one, and our preparation begins many months in advance of the audition date. We provide an effective strategy to give our students the best opportunity to apply to schools that will best suit their musical career, by selecting the right schools, the best audition repertoire, and the right connections to set up our students for success in the music world.

Career Development

Our students will receive conference sessions with the Artistic Director and other professional staff for individual evaluation, corrections, feedback, and career advice.

Gifted & Talented Program

$5,275 per academic year

  • Musicianship Courses (once a week)
  • Masterclasses (3 times a semester)
  • Performance Class (once a month)
  • Individual Career Consultation
  • Optional: $2,600 (20 times Private Lessons per semester) 

Full academic year commitment starting on September 2021 and ends in mid-May.

Pre-Professional Program

$12,000 per academic year

  • 40 Private Lessons
  • 12 Masterclasses 
  • 4 Mock Auditions 
  • 4 Conference Sessions with Artistic Director or Professional Musicians for individual evaluation, corrections, feedback, and career advice

How are the classes conducted?

All classes will be conducted either through Zoom or Facetime depending on the technological availability of the teachers.

Do I have to audition for this program?

Yes, all students will have to be evaluated to provide lessons at the most appropriate level.

What is the age limit for this program?

Specifically for our virtual program, we are accepting students between the ages of 10 to 25 years old.

What is the advantage of the masterclasses?

The professors who provide the masterclasses for our students have considerable influence over the admissions process for their respective conservatories. Providing direct access to these professors allow students an advantage in their college selection process.
