Dear [Alumni],

The Kirov Academy of Washington, DC is celebrating its long history of providing the highest quality of arts education, while also embarking on new and exciting projects to keep us moving into the future. For 30 years, we have been honored by the creativity, dedication, and talent of our students; and now we are inviting you back to celebrate the legacy you’ve been such an integral part of creating.

At the Kirov, we honor our history, but are always looking forward. This spring will bring the 30th anniversary celebration of our founding in 1990 with a full weekend of performances paying tribute to our new and exciting adventures while also commemorating our incredible history–especially the alumni who have honored and distinguished us, not only in the world of dance, but in various professions and across the globe.

We would be honored if you would consider attending our Spring Gala performances on May 28th, 29th and 30th, which will be comprised of an Act 1 performance of Present Day Alumni Soloist and Principles Dancers and the exclusive debut of an original piece choreographed by Kirov alumna Adrienne Canterna. Act II will be a student performance of Paquita. Furthermore, the Kirov Academy will be hosting a Pre Performance Alumni Benefit Gala on the 30th featuring alumni from across our 30 years of education and artistry. The Kirov Academy has always been devoted to providing our students not only the opportunity to grow and flourish as artists, but to grow and flourish as individuals.
