The 2 nd Kirov International Junior E-Piano
Competition Winners Gala Performance

The Kirov Academy in Washington, D.C., implemented the world’s first virtual International Piano Competition, featuring the Steinway Spirio Piano, the most technologically advanced high-resolution player piano system ever created. The 2020 Kirov International Junior E-Piano Competition took place from August 24 through October 24, 2020. Finalists selected from the Junior Division (up to age 13) and the Young Artist Division (ages 14–17) competed remotely — via Spirio — from cities
around the world straight to the live jury panel in Washington, DC.
The Final Virtual Round of the Competition took place on Saturday, October 24, on the Steinway Spirio Piano at the Kirov Academy in Washington, D.C. The young talented pianists competed for Steinway Artist Grants, a concert tour with The Embassy Series of concerts, and the chance to perform at the world-renowned Kennedy Center of Washington, D.C in the Summer of 2021.  See 2020 website here for details of the 2020 Junior E-Piano Competition event: https://kirovacademydc.org/competition2020/
