The Kirov Academy is proud to host the 2020 Kirov International Music Festival Junior E-Piano Competition! We are excited to announce the world’s first virtual international piano competition featuring the Steinway Spirio, the world’s most advanced high-resolution player piano system. The Steinway Spirio can digitally capture every nuance of a performer’s musical interpretation and reproduce it live anywhere in the world. Semi-Finalists around the world will perform on Spirios in select cities with a playback performance, in front of a panel of live international judges on August 29 at the Steinway Hall, Seoul, Korea.
The E-piano competition will take place from August 3 to October 4, 2020, and is open to all pianists regardless of nationality. Participants will compete in virtual rounds in Seoul and Washington, DC.
