The world’s first virtual piano competition featuring Spirio | r.

The 2020 Kirov International Junior E-Piano Competition took place from August 24 through October 24. Finalists selected from the Junior Division (up to age 13) and the Young Artist Division (ages 14–17) competed remotely — via Spirio — from cities around the world straight to the live jury panel in Washington, DC.

First, Second, and Third Prize winners will perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in 2021 and are invited as scholarship participants to the 2021 Kirov International Music Festival. Laureates will also participate in masterclasses with internationally renowned artists.

The First Prize Winner from each division will receive a Steinway Young Artist Grant by Steinway Piano Gallery – Washington D.C. and the Cosmos Cooperation in Seoul. They will be invited to perform at the Embassy Concert Series in Washington D.C.
